NCT 127 Open Up About The Pressure They Felt After The Success Of “Kick It”
NCT 127 previously made waves in 2020 with their song “Kick It”, and they talked about the pressure they felt about following the success of “Kick It” with their new song.
NCT 127 recently made their comeback with their third full Korean album Sticker, with the accompanying title track “Sticker”.
They held an online showcase for their comeback, and Doyoung expressed his excitement for their new album because this was their first comeback as NCT 127 in a year and a half, as the group joined their fellow NCT members to focus on their NCT 2020 promotions last year.
It has been almost 1 1/2 years and I am nervous and excited at the same time.
Leader Taeyong then spoke about how pressured they felt to follow their hit song “Kick It”.
Preparing for this album, we were worried and anxious if we could do better, if we would be able to put on a cooler performance.
And Doyoung then commented on how, even though they were worried about their comeback, they still tried to have fun with it and do something different, as is customary in the NCT world!
It wouldn’t have been fun if we repeated what we’ve done before, right?
And he’s right! NCT 127 released “Sticker”, making a splash with yet another experimental track, showing off yet another side to them!
