NCT’s Bodyguard Reveals How Sweet Jisung Is In Real Life
Together, Jeong Seung Min and Yang Tae Il have worked as bodyguards for a combined 39 years in total. Over the years, they’ve guarded some of the biggest artists in K-Pop, from BTS and SEVENTEEN to TWICE, GFRIEND, WJSN, and MOMOLAND. In a new interview with AYO on YouTube, Yang Tae Il revealed an anecdote about how sweet NCT‘s Jisung was when he worked with him.
Staff have been praising the NCT members for their sweet personalities for years. Last year, a staff member who worked at the 2016 Asia Song Festival gushed over how lovely Jaehyun is, revealing that he constantly greets and bows to staff even if they don’t return the favor.
Shortly after Shotaro joined the group, NCT’s hairstylist revealed how “nice and innocent” he is as well. The stylist added that Shotaro is very hardworking too and always tries his best at everything.
Now, NCT’s security staff are praising Jisung for his kindness.
Naturally, a day in the life of an idol bodyguard is jampacked. If bodyguards leave their posts while on duty, they put the lives of stars and fans at risk—and that includes leaving to eat. Yang Tae Il explained that one day, it was time for NCT’s bodyguards to collect their lunch boxes and eat, but they were still on duty.
Of course, Jisung wasn’t about to let his staff go hungry. According to Yang Tae Il, Jisung decided to go pick up the bodyguard’s lunch boxes on their behalf. “[He] gave them to us saying, ‘Want some?’,” Yang recalled at the sweet gesture.
“Such a nice young lad,” Yang Tae Il said of Jisung’s real personality. Of course, fans have always known that the NCT star is a true sweetheart.
