Recently, the singer revealed that he was finally able to get his wisdom teeth removed. In a series of messages on Dear. U Bubble, he reassured fans that he was fine after the procedure, even sharing a selfie showing that his face was not swollen.

As is common with Chenle, he continued to send messages, eventually talking about his teeth again, saying that he never got anything done with his teeth due to the fact that he was in a rush to debut.

Chenle: I never got anything done with my teeth.
Chenle: I was supposed to get braces, but I was in a rush to debut so there was no time.
Chenle: So, I still haven’t done it now.

Chenle then shares that before his debut that he was advised to get cosmetic micro-procedures done to his face, but he ultimately rejected the idea because he “was too young and too afraid.”

Chenle: They wanted me to get cosmetic micro-procedures done on my face before debut.
Chenle: But I rejected them. I was too young and too afraid.
Chenle: But thinking about it now, if I got cosmetic micro-procedures done, perhaps my face would be more refined and look better

The micro-procedures that Chenle is referencing are considered a less-invasive alternative to traditional plastic surgery and include procedures like injectable facial fillers and thread lifts — a procedure where a barbed string is inserted under the skin and pulled up to lift the face.

While getting any cosmetic procedure or plastic surgery done is one’s own personal choice, Chenle was just 14 years old when he made his debut as a member of NCT DREAM.

Chenle continues, saying that his face is “all-natural now, so it’s not perfect.”

Chenle: My face is all natural now.
Chenle: So it’s not perfect hahahahahahaha
Chenle: If I got the procedures done, I’d totally be super handsome now

Fans were shocked to learn that an idol so young was being suggested to get any cosmetic work performed, and assured Chenle he is perfect just the way he is!

wtf they wanted to give chenle a plastic surgery BEFORE his debut. what is wrong with that company he was 15YO WHEN HE DEBUTED. Does that mean they offered the surgery option when he was 13-14?? He wanted braces and they stopped him from guetting it. Another reason to hate SM lol
