NCT Renjun’s Recent Instagram Posts Spark Concern
About a week ago, SM Entertainment announced that NCT‘s Renjun would be going on hiatus due to “worsening health and anxiety symptoms”. Fans had already been voicing concerns about the idol’s recent appearance and health, and while many are upset that he won’t be able to participate in NCT DREAM‘s upcoming THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAM()SCAPE concert from May 2 to 4, they’re also relieved that he’s taking the time to heal.
However, fans’ worry has renewed after Renjun posted some concerning images on his personal Instagram account over the last day or so.
On first glance, some of the posts seem fine. The first images for most of the posts seem like normal pictures and selfies, albeit some of them are from a while back.

This post in particular includes images of a blond Renjun from the past in a brightly-colored outfit and looking healthy. A couple photos in, though, are pictures of angel statues being tied up or muffled, making the caption “I look really bright here, right? Hehe ㅠ” more worrying.
Another post has overall more concerning vibes. Several of the images are of Renjun looking forlorn with glittery but sad-looking makeup.

The last two pictures are arguably more worrying — one shows a teddy bear being crushed under a sheet of glass, and the other is a sad face. The caption “This is me” makes it all the more heartbreaking.
Fans are understandably worried about Renjun’s current mindset while posting images like these. Considering that he is already known to be dealing with anxiety and other health issues, their hearts are aching for the idol and hoping that he gets the help he needs.
a literal stab in the heart would hurt less than witnessing renjun posting his old photos on instagram with those captions and random relatable photos.
