NCT127 Makes History As The First K-Pop Group To Be On The Cover Of Japanese Magazine “MORE”

Bridging the gap between Korea and Japan on magazine cover at a time.

NCT127, a multinational boy group, appeared on the cover of the January issue of the women’s fashion magazine MORE, published by Shueisha.

It was a major achievement for the magazine because it was the first time they featured K-Pop artists on the cover.

The shoot was done in a relaxed atmosphere from start-to-finish, and the group spontaneously burst into song while on standby, turning the photoshoot into an acapella live stage. During the group interview, the members showed off their high spirits as they shared the latest catchphrase of each person. In the issue, they also discussed their love of music in an eight-page spread.

It’s always wonderful seeing the Hallyu wave spread more and more, as more K-Pop idols get the recognition they deserve for their hard work and talent in other countries.
