Netflix Confirms Date For BLACKPINK’s K-Pop Documentary This Fall

Who’s ready for BLACKPINK!

BLACKPINK will be the first group to release a K-Pop documentary through Netflix.

According to YG Entertainment, the documentary BLACKPINK: Light up the Sky, will release exclusively on Netflix on October 14.

This documentary covers the past four years of BLACKPINK’s journey from being trainees to global stars. They will also reveal never before seen footage from the past four years as well as dorm life and back stage behind-the-scenes.

In addition, they will also show the album recording process for all their hit songs as well as a genuine interview of the four members and how they work together to create a good synergy.

This documentary is directed by Caroline Suh, who is known for the cooking documentary series Salt Fat Acid Heat.

BLACKPINK commented, “We are excited to be able to share our story to our BLINKS all over the world through this Netflix documentary. We hope that this documentary will bring happiness to the viewers.”
