Netizens React To BTS’s RM And NewJeans Releasing Albums On The Same Day Amid Ongoing Feud
On April 25, KST, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin held an emergency press conference to address the ongoing feud between her and her label’s parent company, HYBE. She addressed the control of NewJeans, accusations of plagiarism, and more.
Amid this feud, HYBE recently announced that BTS’s RM would release his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on the same day as NewJeans’ comeback.
Previously, HYBE released a statement supporting the release of NewJeans’ comeback.
Hello, this is HYBE. We are here to inform you about the legal action to protect NewJeans’ rights and interests infingement. NewJeans will continue activities as planned, with the new music video released on the 27th and their double singles to be released in May and June. We will do our best so that the comeback activities aren’t hindered and released on time.
Netizens found it interesting that although they announced that they would make sure nothing would get in the way of NewJeans’ comeback, they decided to make RM’s comeback on the same day.
