Netizens Are Raving About Song Hye Kyo's New K-Drama "The Glory"

Song Hye Kyo‘s Netflix series, The Glory, is the most-watched K-Drama on Netflix.

On January 2, SBS News revealed that The Glory was the most-watched Netflix show in Korea and ranked 5 internationally. The drama was the most-watched Netflix show in ten countries, including Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Thailand.

The Glory tells the story of a woman who exacts revenge on those who mercilessly bullied her as a teenager.

The drama garnered high expectations when it was announced that actress Song Hye Kyo would be reuniting with star writer Kim Eun Sook. Kim Eun Sook is the writer for hit dramas such as Secret Garden, Guardian: The Lonely And Great God, Mr. Sunshine, and Descendants Of The Sun, which starred Song Hye Kyo.

Netizens couldn’t help but heap praise on the drama, with many stating how much they enjoyed the drama’s 8-episode first season and that they couldn’t wait for the second season (March 2023).
