Multiple Fandoms Trend “PROTECT NAYEON” As TWICE Nayeon’s Stalker Posts Video Allegedly Near Her Home

He claimed to have been near Nayeon’s apartment in a posted video.

In September 2022, TWICE Nayeon‘s stalker reentered South Korea more than a year after his last visit. JYP Entertainment, the company that manages TWICE, has stated, “We are discussing our official response with the various related departments right now,” in response to his arrival.

Almost a month later, netizens have become concerned over the apparent lack of action taken by JYP Entertainment to distance the stalker from Nayeon since he posted a vlog of himself in which he claimed to be near her apartment.

The quote “PROTECT NAYEON” began trending on Twitter in October 2022, with ONCEs, known as the official fandom name of TWICE, making a motion to mass e-mail JYP Entertainment to protect Nayeon and physically separate her from the stalker.

Other fandoms also joined the trend, supporting their fellow K-Pop fans and Nayeon.

As of the writing of this article, no further statements from JYP Entertainment have been made regarding this issue.
