In early July, BTS‘s Jungkook and aespa‘s Winter were the subject of dating rumors.
These rumors were connected to a thread of evidence shared by an OP, which many ridiculed due to the weak proof involving their “matching” items. Their love of the gym was also included as “evidence.”
Now, Jungkook’s recent fashion has connected him to Winter (and others) again.
On July 7, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook departed from Korea, heading the the United States. It was previously revealed by the group that they would be working on their next album in America, so this was no big surprise.

A photo of Jimin and Jungkook quickly caught attention online, showing the pair holding hands. Upon closer examination, netizens noticed that Jungkook’s nails were painted mismatching colors.
This nail polish design was connected to Winter, who sported a similar blue standout nail during a recent performance schedule.
In addition to rumors about the male and female idols’ alleged relationship, some connected Jungkook to others over his nails, including V, Jimin, and Jin. A post discussing these “connections” quickly went viral, as netizens mocked the alleged connections made.

In reality, some have connected the various idols having a single blue nail or single nail painted to the Polished Man movement. Polished Man is an organization that aims to end violence against men and women, and individuals can show support by decorating a nail, usually in blue, but any color works according to their website.
