NJZ (NewJeans) Danielle’s Latest Update Sparks Major Concerns
NewJeans’ (NJZ) Danielle has triggered concerns among netizens after her appearance in new photos on Instagram.
Following Danielle’s volunteer work delivering coal briquettes to low-income households in South Korea, Korean singer Sean shared pictures of the idol in one of his latest Instagram updates. The post featured one photo of the pair together alongside three individual shots of Danielle clad in warm workwear, with a hat and mask covering most of her face.

Sean is the head of the Raise Korea’s Temperature by 1 Degree initiative, a charity project that brings celebrities and citizens together to spread positive influence through volunteer work according to Chosun. Over the years, he’s participated in various volunteer activities and donated large sums to charity.
However, many netizens are convinced the singer (who initially debuted in YG Entertainment’s first-generation duo Jinusean in 1997) has less wholesome intentions with Danielle.
Following his Instagram post, several K-Pop fans have accused him of behaving in a consistently “weird” way with the young NewJeans idol. Earlier this year, the two were also seen running together on several occasions.

Some are even suggesting their images together resemble couple photos. Sean is 53 years old, making him more than 30 years senior to 20-year-old Danielle.

Despite the pair appearing together for charity work, and in spite of the father-of-four being married for 11 years, this isn’t the first time this month that Sean and Danielle’s close relationship has triggered uncomfortable reactions. Earlier in December, photos of the two together at an event sparked similar questions about whether their appearances are appropriate.
