NJZ (NewJeans) Must Apologise To ILLIT And LE SSERAFIM, According To Netizens

Some fans aren’t happy with their return.

Following a tumultuous November 12 for NewJeans and their fans, it seems the group is reportedly set to return to ADOR after lengthy legal battle between the two sides.

It was a legal battle in which — due to leaked HYBE documents and statements from Min Hee Jin and Hanni — many other groups were caught up.

With NewJeans set to return, fans feel as though there are two groups in particular the members must apologise to: LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT.

Some international netizens have gone as far as to say that it’s unfair for the five members of NewJeans to return to the company like nothing happened.

Many are demanding public apologies from the girl group towards their label mates.

There’s also fans who only hold Hanni accountable for “harming” other groups.

Meanwhile, the future relationship between the girl groups has also been put into question. Fans feel as though, after everything that has happened, there may be some awkwardness within the “HYBE family.”

Regardless of whether any apologies will be handed out, the future of NewJeans under HYBE remains uncertain as ADOR is reportedly still “confirming [Minji, Danielle, and Hanni’s] intent.” But even if the group does resume activities under the HYBE sub-label, it’s clear their homecoming will not be welcomed by all fans.
