Pledis Entertainment recently revealed that NU’EST Ren‘s grandpa had passed away. After taking a few days to himself, Ren opened up about his grandfather’s passing on Instagram.
He posted a loving photo of his grandparents sitting in front of a beautiful waterfall.
Ren revealed in a heartfelt message that his grandpa had raised him during his childhood. But he believes that his grandpa is able to rest in peace knowing that Ren is loved by so many fans around the world.
I was late because I was sending off a precious someone who had raised me during my immature days.
I believe that my grandpa is happy up in heaven because he got to see how much love I was receiving.

His NU’EST members rushed to his side as soon as they heard the news and offered Ren the strength that he needed. Ren also thanked the fans who sent him all their love and support during the sad news.
May his grandfather rest in peace.
