On August 6, an announcement was made that Park Bom would suspend all activities with 2NE1 due to health concerns, after previously sitting out some events.
The announcement was made through the official social media channels of D-Nation, and the company shared that the decision was made at the singer’s doctor’s recommendation for rest and stability.

This does not mean the idol has completely disappeared, however, as she has been active on social media. Most recently, she attracted attention for her inclusion of Lee Min Ho in a new post following her previous comments about the actor.

A few days ago, it was noticed that Park Bom’s Instagram following count decreased, indicating that she had unfollowed the members of 2NE1 and several others, including her agency D-Nation. The most recent update of her following list shows that she only follows Yang Hyun Suk, Lee Min Ho, and someone who appears to be a staff member from Be The One Company.
While the idol has often confused netizens with her social media updates, many wonder what exactly the future holds for Bom after these changes, both with 2NE1 and agencies she is currently working with. Others also remind that Park Bom often makes “unserious” updates, meaning this could be something she did for no reason.
