Comedian Park Na Rae has rebutted allegations of power abuse made by her former managers and, despite the emotional strain, has decided to continue her activities.
According to OSEN‘s report on the 5th, although Park Na Rae is mentally distressed by the allegations and the lawsuit demanding damages, she plans to keep working without pausing her broadcasting activities and will respond appropriately going forward.
A close associate of Park Na Rae stated, “We cannot cause inconvenience to those appearing with her on programs. Although this situation has arisen, she intends to do as much as she can.”
On the 4th, according to Dispatch, Park Na Rae’s former managers filed a request for a provisional seizure of real estate through the Seoul Western District Court on the 3rd and announced a lawsuit claiming damages worth about ₩100 million KRW (about $67,800 USD).

The content of their complaint and claims submitted to the court is shocking as it sharply contrasts with Park Na Rae’s public image. The former managers allege not only unfair treatment but also specific and serious criminal accusations including workplace harassment, special injury, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid fees for appearances. They claim to have been forced to engage in tasks outside working hours such as fetching drinks at drinking parties, running errands for side dishes, cleaning up after parties, and even acting as domestic helpers for Park Na Rae’s family.
In response, Park Na Rae’s side stated, “Two employees who worked with Park Na Rae for about 1 year and 3 months recently left the company, and the company duly paid them severance. However, after receiving their severance pay, these employees demanded additional amounts equivalent to 10% of the company’s previous year sales.” They added, “The employees continued to pressure Park Na Rae and the company by adding new claims over time, with the demanded amount gradually increasing to several hundred million won. Park Na Rae has been under significant mental and emotional stress due to their sudden resignations, groundless accusations, mounting monetary demands, and media pressure.”
Park Na Rae’s side also emphasized, “We recognize shortcomings in the operation and do not intend to evade responsibility where faults exist. However, facing ongoing unnecessary misunderstandings and pressure stemming from unfounded claims, we decided not to be swayed by one-sided demands any longer. Accordingly, after legal review, we have decided to take necessary legal actions.”
