JYJ member and actor Yoochun is belatedly reported to have sustained injuries while filming the upcoming SBS drama Sensory Couple.
Still cuts previously released show that Yoochun, who plays a policeman in the drama, might have many action scenes, hence a possibility for the injury.
According to broadcasting officials, “Park Yoochun has recently injured his ribs while filming for ‘Sensory Couple.’ His condition has improved a lot and is able to safely return to filming.”
In response, Yoochun’s label C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “In the drama, Park Yoochun has a fighting scene after he breaks a glass door. When he was filming it, he got hit at his sides by a chair. His ribs were injured, so he received treatment and rested for a few days. He is currently receiving physical therapy and will pay special attention to the injured area while carrying on filming afterwards.”
This is not the first time Yoochun has injured himself while filming a drama, he also pulled a ligament in his shoulder in the previous SBS drama Three Days.
Sensory Couple is scheduled to air its first episode on April 1st, and will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10PM KST.
