PENTAGON’s Hui To Enlist In The Military This December, Second To Enlist After Jinho

Good luck to Hui!

PENTAGON’s Hui will be enlisting for his mandatory military service this December.

According to media outlets, he will be enlisting on December 3 and is the second member from the group after Jinho to enlist in the military.

Hui will be serving his time in the military as a social service worker.

Hui began his career as an idol as a member of PENTAGON in 2016 and has produced many songs for the groups’ album.

He has also expanded his musical career with his role in the musical Gwangyeom Sonata as well as OST promotions and several variety programs.

PENTAGON has also recently made a comeback after eight months with their tenth mini album WE:TH. This is their first comeback album since their appearance on Mnet’s Road to Kingdom. They have promoted as eight members without Jinho for this comeback.

During PENTAGON’s comeback online showcase, Hui commented, “As I got older, I realized that there will come a time that I will have to follow Jinho’s footsteps.”

He also revealed that he wasn’t worried about the group even though he would be gone for awhile.

Whether or not I am here or not, I have no worries because our group’s talent and skill is so amazing. Even though I’m not here, the other members will take over my position. Although our names are different it’s like having nine Hui’s. They all have amazing talents.

We wish Hui good luck during his service!
