“Please Don’t Bully Us” — Popular Boy Groups’ Official Fandom Name Goes Viral For Being “Bad”

“…sucks but trust me when i say that these boys are extremely talented”

A musical group usually debuts with their official name, beyond some rare circumstances. The next name that holds value and is announced is that of the fandom, which has been decided through several ways.

For example, aespa‘s fandom name is MY, meaning “the most precious friend” in KWANGYA, which is where aespa’s avatar æs live.

Recently, a new boy group’s fandom name went viral for not quite being what was expected.

AHOF was formed through the 2024 survival show Universe League and only debuted on July 1. In addition to recording high views, the group already achieved its first wins, edging out older groups.

When the group’s name was first announced, it was also not what was expected, which caused some of the members and judges to laugh.

Upcoming Group Name Is So “Bad” Even Idols Laughed At It

While awaiting their official name, AHOF’s fandom used “Nameless” as their official title, a sort of play on words.

On September 9, it was announced that AHOF’s official fandom name would be FOHA, the reverse of the group’s name. It also means “Forever Our Home, AHOF.”

While the meaning is cute, the name did not quite hit for everyone. Fans pointed out that FOHA also stands for “Friends Of Homeless Animals,” an organization that helps animals needing adoption.

And some just couldn’t help but joke about how “bad” they think the name is.
