On December 12, the Gangnam Police Station confirmed they received a complaint requesting an investigation into the hospital in Sinsa-dong, where SHINee’s Onew allegedly received unlicensed medical treatment from “A”, identified as Park Na Rae’s “injection auntie.”

The complaint alleges violations of the Medical Service Act and the Special Act on the Crackdown on Public Health Crimes.

Those indicted are “A”, the founder, director, and actual operator of the clinic, and unnamed medical staff who directed and assisted Onew’s medical practices.

The complaint filed stated that he received the procedure without knowing that the “A” was not a medical professional. It recognized that Onew was primarily a potential victim and witness of this case. They also requested that Onew be summoned as a witness to investigate “A”’s illegal practices.

However, netizens were confused as to why the controversy was shifting its focus to Onew instead of Park Na Rae.
