You won’t believe what group it is. 🤣

EXO’s Chen Calling Out 4th Gen Idol For Lip Syncing Goes Viral

On May 22, legendary K-Pop group HI-BOYZ reunited for a performance on M Countdown with their track “When The Day Comes.”

While only three members appeared on the tweet, the introduction shared an insight for new fans to the members they would be watching.

Yet, only the main three seemed present, and as the performance continued, netizens started to doubt whether the comeback was live, feeling that each member seemingly had multiple voices that sounded similar to other idols.

Netizens criticized their reunion, saying had the hype to lip sync, with some wanting an MR removed version to see the raw vocals.

Fans quickly defended the members saying the allegations showed how talented the members are.

Of course, in reality, the performance wasn’t serious as HI-BOYZ is actually a fictional group from the K-Drama Resident Playbook, where the story is that Doctor Jae Il was once an idol in the group but became a doctor. In reality, the song is an OST from the K-Drama and sung by the members of TXT, including Soobin and Yeonjun, who play members of the group.

Netizens joked that the performance showed that the members of TXT aren’t used to lipsyncing.

HI-BOYZ is a lore that will be legendary, and you can watch the full performance below.
