Popular Idol Takes A Scary Tumble Mid-Performance, Gain Attention For His Reaction
FT ISLAND‘s Lee Hongki has recently gained attention for his reaction to an onstage mishap.
As festival season continues at Korean universities, artists continue to perform at various events. FT ISLAND was one of many groups to perform on the first day of Hayang University’s 2025 event.
The group took the stage and impressed with their performance, even as they currently promote as a duo due to Choi Minhwan’s controversy.

At one point during the performance, as Lee Hongki danced near the front of stage, he slipped. The singer landed on his butt, but didnt miss a beat, continuing to perform.
Ater the performance, Hongki made an Instagram post to let everyone know that he was okay. Most noticeably, he used the clip of his fall as the first image, handling the mishap with grace.
