This Pro Basketball Player Sang Along to TWICE’s “Yes or Yes”

That was the only Korean song he knew.

Marcus Foster is an American basketball player for Wonju DB Promy of the Korean Basketball League.

In the 2018 – 2019 All-Star Dunk Contest, he proved himself as the dunk king by winning first place.

However, what really got the viewers’ attention was the surprise event he had in store for the fourth quarter.

It was a game where he had to sing Korean songs that he heard through his headset and other players had to guess which songs they were.

Even though his pronunciation needed a little more work, his effort made the fans laugh.

Foster sang Yoon Jong Shin‘s “Are You Happy”, TWICE‘s “Yes or Yes”, and Cho Yong Pil‘s “Leopard Of Mt.Kilimanjaro”.

Following the game, Foster said:

“I’ve heard ‘Yes or Yes’ all the time while walking down the streets, so I was quite used to it, but I didn’t know the other songs. So I’m glad they got them right.”

It appears that TWICE is a part of everyone whether they’re aware of it or not.
