Rain Reveals How Much He Lost From Producing Boy Group Ciipher

The singer was a guest on the May 9 episode of tvN‘s 이번주도 잘 부탁해 (Translated as Good Luck This Week).

On this day, along with Rain, Ciipher member Tan made a surprise appearance.

Seo Dong Il, who starred in the drama Ghost Doctor with Tan asked the idol what foods he was able to cook, to which Tan replied he had just learned how to fry an egg.

Taken aback, Seo Dong Il asked Rain, “How much did you invest in this guy?” to which Rain replied, “I blew the cost of a house” while sighing.

Rain, however, reaffirmed his faith in Tan, saying, “Tan is going to make it big. I guarantee in 2,3 years; everyone is going to be like, ‘That was him?‘”

Tan will be making his return to idol duties with Ciipher’s comeback on May 11, 2022. The group will be coming back with their third mini-album, “The Code.” Ciipher is the first boy group Rain has personally produced under his agency, R.A.I.N Company. The 7-member group debuted back in March 2021.
