Red Velvet Face “Absurd” Racism Accusations Towards BLACKPINK’s Lisa
A heated debate has erupted after fans accused members of Red Velvet of being racist toward BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
Lisa, who is Thai, has become one of the most successful non-Korean idols in K-Pop.
Because of that, some fans claimed she may have struggled to form close friendships in the industry.

A viral tweet suggested that Red Velvet members appear closer to the other BLACKPINK members and implied that Lisa’s nationality could be the reason.

Many pointed out that Red Velvet were among the first girl groups to publicly interact with BLACKPINK during award shows and music events. Others recalled past moments where Irene was seen treating Lisa warmly during ceremonies.
