SEVENTEEN‘s Jeonghan and S.Coups will resume their activities after both being on hiatus due to injuries.

On August 10, S.COUPS sustained an injury to the left knee as he was landing while playing a ball game for a content shoot. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he underwent a comprehensive medical examination including an MRI scan. During the examination, a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) was identified in the left knee.
The artist is receiving necessary medical treatment prior to the surgery as recommended by the medical staff, and will undergo surgery as soon as possible. We will provide another update on the progression of treatments and his rehabilitation schedule at a later time.
S.COUPS will be unable to participate in the majority of official activities for the foreseeable future, and will focus on his recovery through surgery and rehabilitation. We would like to extend our deepest apology to his fans for any distress or worry this may have caused.
The artist is highly determined to attend all of the group’s prearranged engagements. However, his participation will be adjusted depending on the circumstances, placing his recovery as the top most priority as per recommendation of the medical staff.

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.We would like to update you on the progression of the medical treatment for SEVENTEEN member S.COUPS.
On August 10, S.COUPS sustained a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the left knee during a content shoot. After receiving necessary pre-surgery medical treatment as recommended by the medical staff, he underwent surgery to restore his ACL and anterolateral ligament on Monday, 21st.
The surgery was a success, and S.COUPS was discharged from the hospital on Thursday morning, the 24th, and has been resting since.
S.COUPS will be focusing solely on recovery and rehabilitation for the foreseeable future per recommendation from the medical team. To expedite his recovery, S.COUPS will be wearing a leg brace and use crutches and a wheelchair. Once the surgical site is healed, he will undergo physical therapy so that he can return in full health to his fans.
Once the medical team confirms the stable recovery of the surgical area, S.COUPS plans to participate in the second-half schedule with flexibility and within reasonable limits. We ask for your kind understanding.

JEONGHAN previously suffered an injury to his left ankle and has been receiving several conservative treatments. The artist was highly determined to participate in all activities prearranged for this year, so he continued his activities while getting regular checkups on his ankle with medical professionals.
While performing on the recent tour, JEONGHAN’s ankle pain worsened. He immediately went to the hospital and was diagnosed by the medical staff as needing surgery. Accordingly, he was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday the 13th and underwent ankle surgery on the morning of Thursday the 14th. The surgery was successful, and JEONGHAN is now recuperating.
We believed that it was in the artist’s best interest to prioritize his recovery and rehabilitation above all else at this time. Therefore, it will be difficult for JEONGHAN to participate in official activities for the time being, including the upcoming SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN Fukuoka concert and the ‘FOLLOW’ TO ASIA concerts in Bangkok, Bulacan, and Macao. Both S.Coups and Jeonghan have received successful post-surgery care. As a result, they both have recovered well enough that medical professionals have approved them to resume their regular schedules in March.
S.COUPS and JEONGHAN have been receiving post-surgery care since their surgeries for knee and ankle injuries in August and December of last year, respectively.
As a result of receiving constant care and taking sufficient rest, both artists have made a noticeable recovery. They have been cleared by medical professionals to resume their scheduled activities as long as they avoid straining their bodies.

Although S.Coups and Jeonghan should still not strain their bodies too much, they plan to join the rest of the SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’. Some activities may be limited, and they will receive check-ups to ensure their safety.
