Actor Ryu Jun Yeol finally broke his silence regarding his ill-fated relationship with Han So Hee.
On May 10, Ryu Jun Yeol attended a press conference for Netflix’s upcoming series The 8 Show. Also attending were actors Chun Woo Hee, Park Jeong Min, and Lee Yul Eum.
On this day, Ryu Jun Yeol finally spoke about the scandal that rocked Korea’s entertainment industry when he was alleged to have left Hyeri for Han So Hee. The actor, who was in the middle of the scandal, frustrated fans by being silent throughout the controversy.
According to Ryu Jun Yeol, the reason he stayed silent was simply because he felt that was best.
Rather than try to correct the misinformation about my personal life that was being uploaded to social media, I felt that it was best to stay silent and endure the criticism.

When asked about his other controversies stemming from the scandal, Ryu Jun Yeol admitted that he was aware of them, but offered to interview about it separately at another time.
It was an opportunity for me to self-reflect and the most trying time since my debut. As it is a personal issue, I think there will be a time when I can give an interview about it at a personal setting.
