Seolhyun is making her return to fans through tvN variety show Unexpected Business.
On the preview for next week’s episode of Unexpected Business, it was revealed that Seolhyun would be visiting the market and working as its newest employee.
As Seolhyun greeted Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung, the actors couldn’t hide their pleasant surprise.
Seolhyun also couldn’t hide her surprise at the size of the market she’ll be working in for the day.
The preview shows the idol working as a cashier as she tries to navigate the many buttons, even panicking when help is not available.
Seolhyun, who debuted with girl group AOA in 2012, became quickly regarded as one of K-pop’s top visuals. The idol has been making more waves as an actress recently, starring as J In Sung’s sister in the movie, The Great Battle. She will also be starring in the upcoming tvN comedy, The Killer’s Shopping list, opposite actor Lee Kwang Soo.
Her return to television is a welcome sight for fans as she has been away from the limelight since former AOA members Jimin and Mina‘s controversy. Despite receiving criticism initially for her close relationship with Jimin, fans later rallied behind her and praised her handling of the controversy. She and Jimin still seem very close, often uploading pictures taken while together.
Unexpected Business 2 is the second season of the hit reality program, Unexpected Business. The show revolves around Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung who become the owners of a grocery market for one week. Celebrity friends are invited as guests who work as employees for a day.
Notable guests from the second season include Kim Woo Bin who made his first official return to television (since his cancer diagnosis) through the show earlier in the season.
