Seoul Metro Employees Caught Having Sex During Work Hours
Seoul Metro is under fire following an incident at Station B on Subway Line 5, where a male and female employee were discovered engaging in inappropriate behavior during working hours. The incident occurred on the afternoon of January 4 inside a facility designated exclusively for female staff.

Audit office personnel conducting a routine inspection became suspicious upon noticing unusual activity near the women-only area. They called out multiple times before a male employee emerged and attempted to explain his presence by claiming he had entered the facility to retrieve coffee. When questioned further, his response raised concerns, prompting one of the auditors to inspect the facility.
Inside, the female employee was found in a compromising position, reportedly without her lower garments. The male staff member later admitted to kissing the female employee while she claimed she had been in the process of changing clothes.

The incident has drawn attention not only for the misconduct itself but also due to the audit office’s response. Allegations have surfaced that the office sought to suppress information about the incident by requiring those involved, as well as other station employees, to sign confidentiality agreements. This has sparked outrage, as the office is expected to ensure accountability and transparency, especially in cases involving workplace misconduct.
Concerns are growing over whether Seoul Metro attempted to downplay or cover up the incident under the guise of maintaining professional confidentiality. Critics argue that such actions could erode public trust in the organization and its commitment to ethical practices.

The controversy is now gaining massive traction, with a post on the popular Korean community site TheQoo about it garnering over 43,000 views in just a few hours.
