Seoul Will Be Lighting Up Purple In Honor Of BTS’s Muster

ARMYs from all over the world are flocking to the city.

In celebration of BTS’s Fifth Muster fan meeting in Seoul, the city will be lighting up purple in honor of the event. Purple has been adopted by BTS as a special color after V defined it as a word that means “to trust and love for a long time”.

Several landmarks in Busan lit up in purple to celebrate the fan meeting that BTS held there.

BTS are holding their fan meetings at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena on June 22nd and 23rd. Over 25,000 people will be in attendance from all over the world. In order to welcome foreign ARMYs to Korea, officials have decided to light up several landmarks purple.

Several advertisements featuring BTS, including the promotional video they filmed in the city, will be put up in several locations including the Seoul Metropolitan Library. Through this, we plan to make it clear that BTS is an honorary ambassador for Seoul and ultimately promote the city of Seoul to tourists.
