Two Popular Male Idols End Up In Fierce Debate, Triggering Massive Reactions

Whose side are you on?

Recently, SEVENTEEN Seungkwan’s YouTube series went viral for his episode featuring TXT’s Soobin.

The two, who are known for being huge girl group fans in the past, began a full-blown discussion regarding their fave groups.

Soobin, whose fave group was KARA, gave a lecture on his fave group after them, which included RAINBOW, Apink, and miss A.

However, when they reached the topic of KARA’s “Jumping,” they were on different ends of the spectrum.

When choosing their favorite songs, Seungkwan immediately chose “Jumping,” which Soobin wasn’t a big fan of.

Seungkwan: Why? I don’t get it!

Soobin: The instrumental is really good, but the melody is, gosh,  wasn’t the melody so carelessly composed?

Seungkwan: What are you talking about? Do you even know how those Sweetune folks came up with that topline melody?

Soobin: It’s too repetitive. The bridge part is repetitive, and the verse and chorus, too, all of it. Maybe they should have at least given variations in the lyrics.

Seungkwan: You don’t know its appeal.

Netizens loved seeing idols talking about K-Pop and wanted to join in on the debate.

This is because Soobin has probably heard ‘Jumping’ a thousand times more than Seungkwan. Seungkwan has his own ult, so he’s only speaking as a listener, whereas Soobin is a true Kamilla and is able to say things like that.

Soobin and Seungkwan’s K-pop talk is so fun, I want to join in on the conversation, too.

This is basically a debate between a true fan and a listener. Soobin has been a Kamilla for 16 years, while Seungkwang is a K-Pop listener. (But strangely enough, Soobin started stanning KARA because of ‘Jumping.’)
