SHINee have finally announced their highly anticipated comeback!
The SM Entertainment boy group revealed earlier today that they will make a group comeback on May 25. Fans have been waiting for their return for many months, ever since two of the members — Taemin and Onew — announced they would be departing SM after years at the company. As such, the new release was already significant to fans.
However, new details have emerged that have made the project all the more special. The new release — which will allegedly be a single based on previous reports — is titled “Poet | Artist,” the exact name of Jonghyun’s last album released posthumously on January 23, 2018.

The album has always been special to SHAWOLs, and having the new SHINee single named after it has been well received by fans. The occasion — it being the first SHINee release in a long while — has increased the emotion among the fanbase as well.

One of the physical release versions will contain small plushies created after each of the five members, accompanied by photocards and other collectibles. For Jonghyun’s plushie, the background is an image of all members holding it together.
