SHINee’s Key Said He Was Calling His Bestie, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, But The Reality Was Much Better
SHINee‘s Key and Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon are undoubtedly one of the most iconic best friend duos in K-Pop!
Key and Taeyeon recently released their duet, “Hate That,” which is featured on Key’s upcoming solo mini album.
Key celebrated the song’s release with a live stream.
Near the start of his broadcast, Key said he was going to call Taeyeon, so they could talk about “Hate That” together.
When he called Taeyeon, the camera panned over to the side and revealed that Taeyeon was actually with Key!
Instantly, they launched into the dance from Taeyeon’s most recent single, “Weekend.”
Then, the two besties waved hello to the cameras together, and Key said that Taeyeon’s visit “was unexpected.”
Taeyeon said she figured Key would call her since the song was being released later that day, so she set time aside to hang out with him during the live stream.
While Taeyeon’s “surprise” was most likely planned, it was great to see the two best friends unite to celebrate their first duet ever!
