SHINee prompts questions of comeback after announcing “SHINee World IV” concert series

Male idol group SHINee will be holding their fourth concert series in Seoul this May, prompting many to question if this is a hint towards a comeback.

Revealing an official poster for their upcoming concert series, SHINee will be returning to fans with a two-day performance at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Gymnasium this May on the 16th and 17th. This will officially mark their first concert since March 2014.

However, the announcement of their comeback has also had Shawols questioning if this meant SHINee would finally be making a Korean comeback with a new album as well. The group last released their 5th mini-album Everybody in October 2013, promoting the same title track as well for a short period of time.

Since then, the group has been busy promoting in Japan as well as following solo activities with both Taemin and Jonghyun officially making their solo debuts during the group’s hiatus. SHINee has also confirmed their positions as Hallyu K-pop leaders in Japan, attracting over 700,000 fans to their national tour SHINee WORLD 2014 ~I’m Your Boy~ that also included their first concert stop ever at Tokyo Dome for the finale.

Tickets for SHINee’s May concert will be available for purchase and reservation on April 2nd via Yes24 at 8PM KST.
