“My new Roman Empire.”

SHINee‘s Taemin wasted no time reminding fans why he’s known as an “idol’s idol” after returning from his mandatory military service in April.

Since his return, he promoted with his fellow group members in celebration of their 15th anniversary and has since made his long-awaited solo comeback with his fourth mini-album, Guilty.

In October, it was confirmed that Taemin would be ending the year with another epic milestone when it was announced that he would be the first K-Pop artist to hold a solo concert in South Korea’s first multi-purpose indoor performance hall, Inspire Arena in Incheon.

The arena seats 15,000 people and recently hosted the 2023 Melon Music Awards.

Tickets for SHINee Taemin’s two METAMORPH solo concerts quickly sold out, and the SHINee maknae recently completed the first of two nights, stunning netizens with his incredible talent and the show’s production level.

It wasn’t just Taemin’s vocal talents, incredible dance skills, or captivating stage performance that caught netizens’ attention.

During the show, Taemin shocked netizens with his criminally sexy performance of his 2020 hit song “Criminal.”

For his “Criminal” stage, the dancers pulled back Taemin’s shirt, revealing the SHINee maknae‘s fit physique, with netizens rushing to react and asking for a moment to process the sexy performance.

While Taemin has always had a fit physique, his appearance during his first METAMORPH show had many wondering if he’s been spending extra time in the gym. Others reacted to his impressive duality on stage, shirtless one moment and smiling fully clothed the next.

Taemin’s sexy METAMORPH stage follows the recent discovery that his accidental shirtless “Guilty” performance on SBS‘s Inkigayo was removed from YouTube, leading netizens to hilariously speculate that it was “too sexy” for public broadcast.
