They’re shipping her with the new guy instead.

This article reveals plot details of a current movie or series.

Single’s Inferno 2 is well underway, and one contestant has become the standout favorite among international viewers.

Netflix‘s hit Korean dating show Single’s Inferno returned with its second season on December 13. We have now been briefly introduced to ten contestants, five women and five men, finding out their names, some hobbies, and their “types” when dating. They are hoping to find love on the deserted island “Inferno,” and if their feelings are reciprocated, the “couple” gets to escape to “Paradise” (a resort).

Of all the contestants we have met, Lee Nadine became an instant favorite among viewers, especially internationally. Perhaps it was due to the fact that she is the only contestant who is more comfortable speaking English than Korean.

In Episode 1, Nadine described herself as having a cold, honest personality but acknowledged her voice sounded “softer” when speaking in Korean. She joined the show to escape her comfort zone and date.

Despite self-identifying as cold, she seems shyer than that. Despite this, she has hit it off with one male contestant, in particular, Shin Dong Woo.

When the contestants first arrived, Shin Dong Woo sat in the free space between Nadine and Shin Seul Ki.

He caught Nadine’s attention the moment he walked onto the island. And he quickly initiated a conversation with her.

Nadine and Dong Woo ended up touring the island with Kim Han Bin. During that time, Dong Woo kept the conversation going, asking her lots of questions, which seemed to imply he was interested in her.

While Dong Woo confessed to the cameras that Park Se Jeong had caught his attention first and fit his “type,” he sent his postcard to Nadine at the end of the day. He made reference to their conversation about working out and sports by writing, “We should work out together sometime.”

On the other hand, Dong Woo received two postcards. Shin Seul Ki wrote, “Let’s go get water together tomorrow,” referencing their trip to get water from earlier that day for dinner, and Nadine wrote, “Purple looks good on you!!” He confessed to the men that he was confused after reading the postcards.

At breakfast the next day, Dong Woo sat next to Nadine again. Yet, he continued to talk with Seul Ki, and they later hung out with a smaller group.

Seul Ki continued to show her interest in Dong Woo throughout Episode 2, approaching him alone. Later, he told the men he thought she was “cute” and he wanted to “talk more.”

| Netflix

Nadine told the other women that she felt “awkward” in her interaction, struggling to approach the man she was interested in. But they, including Seul Ki, encouraged her to go for it. So, she did.

| Netflix

Dong Woo and Nadine went on a “water date.” They sat for a while, talking about their feelings. He even gave her compliments.

| Netflix

Nadine apologized for her short answers from the day before and thanked him for helping her be more comfortable. However, she implied she was not interested in going to Paradise.

| Netflix

Dong Woo told her she needed to. Her mindset was that it was just not a priority because she liked the deserted island “adventure.”

| Netflix

But if she were to go, she wanted to go with someone she really liked and wanted to get to know better…

| Netflix

This sparked Dong Woo to mention wanting to know multiple people better.

| Netflix

She was the opposite. Nadine only had one person in mind.

So, when the time came for the contestants to choose their partner to go to Paradise with, Nadine chose Dong Woo. However, Dong Woo didn’t choose her, which left her to stay in Inferno. This shocked viewers and the panel.

Dong Woo ended up going to Paradise with Seul Ki. There, he was forward in asking questions and expressing his interest in her. Yet, she was even more awkward and hesitated to express her feelings. There was little to no chemistry. We found out Dong Woo is a 32-year-old doctor specializing in plastic surgery, while Seul Ki is a 25-year-old piano major at Seoul National University.

When they returned to Inferno, they were more confused about where they stood than before. Shortly after, a new man, named Kim Jin Young, was introduced. He quickly became a person of interest to all the ladies, especially Seul Ki and Nadine.

He ended up winning the men’s game for a meal with two women of his choice and, interestingly, chose those who had just been to Paradise.

Nadine briefly spoke to Jin Young later, and they seemed to click well. Notably, Dong Woo kept looking back during their conversation.

| Netflix

Ultimately, when it was time to choose who they wanted to go to Paradise with, Nadine chose Dong Woo over Jin Young, and Dong Woo chose Nadine (you couldn’t choose the same person you had just gone to Paradise with).

Viewers had mixed feelings about the choices, though. Soon, Nadine became a trending topic on social media.

Everyone was so excited for Nadine to go to Paradise finally…

But no one wanted her to go with Dong Woo.

Everyone is glad Nadine will be able to leave, eat good food, etc. But they hope she will have nothing to do with Dong Woo afterwards.

Viewers agree both Nadine and Se Jeong are too good for the men, who appear blind to recognize their worth.

Not only is Nadine sweet, athletic, and gorgeous, but she is a Harvard student studying neuroscience. So, netizens are anticipating Dong Woo’s reaction.

But most viewers are holding out hope for her and the new guy Jin Young. Many felt they had chemistry and should have chosen each other to go to Paradise.

But do we now have another potential suitor in Jo Yoong Jae, who had never shown interest in Nadine before?

Only time will tell.
