Kim Min Gee’s IRL Marriage Plans Involve A “Single’s Inferno 5” Man — But He Wants Out

Another exciting season of Netflix‘s Single’s Inferno ended with some singles leaving the island as a couple and others leaving alone. One of the most talked about singles this season was track star Kim Min Gee.

In the final episode, Min Gee left Inferno with Song Seung Il, but she also connected with two other male singles during the show: Lim Su Bin and Woo Seung Min.

During an interview with ELLE KOREA, the cast answered questions about dating. When asked whether it’s possible for women and men to have platonic friendships, some of the cast, including Min Gee, said yes.

Later on, during the video’s credits, Min Gee spoke specifically about one friend, Seung Min. He’s involved in her future marriage plans, but not as the groom.

If I think of someone as a friend, then they’re a friend forever, to the end. So, Seung Min and I are really friends. And with Seung Min, later on I want to do couple meet-ups as separate married couples.

“I want to have kids and marry them to his,” Min Gee said, “but Seung Min said no! He said he doesn’t want his child to marry my kid.”

Though it’s rare for dating show couples to marry in real life, many cast members stay in touch as friends. One fan spotted Min Gee and Seung Min hanging out together, and they kindly posed for this photo:
