Actress Song Ji Hyo Announces Her Marriage, Inspiring Shock

Of the Running Man cast, the member who has attracted some of the biggest interest in her relationships is Song Ji Hyo.

The star previously revealed that she had been in a relationship for 8 years in the past, which shocked many.

Now, she has further shocked by revealing marriage plans!

On April 16, the actress shared a video on her YouTube channel, she invited one of her friends, David Lee, to join her in cooking a meal. Once the meal was completed, the pair sit down to eat, when Ji Hyo asks if he has his phone on him. After he does, she sends him a message, which causes a big reaction from him.

The message is a wedding invitation for Su Yeon Cheon, Song Ji Hyo’s real name,  and a Jin Woo Park, scheduled to take place on May 30, 2026. The venue listed is the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, a venue known for wedding ceremonies.

Once his initial shock has passed, Lee questions if it is a joke, before saying he would call the venue to double check.  Ji Hyo then says that today she was just making an announcement, while Lee continues to react in shock.

When he asks why there was no map, she finally reveals it was an April’s Fool’s Day joke, and he finally relaxes. Ji Hyo also reveals that the meal was made with meal kit, rather than entirely by hand, continuing the jokes that day.
