SOOP Responds To Claims That Nam Joo Hyuk Left YG Entertainment To Join Their Agency

They explained what happened.

Earlier reports claimed that actor Nam Joo Hyuk had decided not to renew his contract with YG Entertainment and instead sign with MANAGEMENT SOOP.

SOOP responded to the claims, explaining that they have met with Na Joo Hyuk but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

We had a meeting with Nam Joo Hyuk about an exclusive contract. We are discussing terms related to a contract but nothing has been signed yet.

Nam Joo Hyuk had been with YG Entertainment since his debut 7 years ago. His contract with YG expires next month as YG announced that they are discussing about a possible renewal. It appears Nam Joo Hyuk is reviewing his options before making his final decision to call his new home.

Nam Joo Hyuk’s new drama with Suzy, titled Startup, will begin airing in April, and he’s also scheduled to work on the drama series HERE, that’ll air near the end of this year.
