STAYC’s Styling Mistake Comes Full Circle After Making International News

A well-intentioned mistake had the best possible outcome!

STAYC announced earlier this summer that they would embark on their first-ever world tour, TEENFRESH, which officially began at the end of September.

Since then, they’ve successfully completed two shows in Seoul and seven shows in the United States. In January, they’ll continue with the Asian leg of their TEENFRESH tour.

While in Dallas, Texas, on October 19, the group made headlines around the world after earning attention for their unexpected wardrobe mistake.

The six STAYC members wore multiple outfits during the show, which included one sporty set of outfits showing love to multiple Texas sports teams.

Instead of wearing jerseys for Texas’s professional baseball team, the Texas Rangers, the group’s stylists mistakenly dressed members Sumin and Isa in vintage jerseys for the Rangers Football Club, which is a professional football club in Scotland.

The well-intentioned error was picked up by global news outlets such as The New York Times and BBC News (UK), and now, the viral moment has come full circle.

On November 11, the Rangers Football Club unexpectedly announced on their official X account (formerly known as Twitter) that STAYC would be at Edmiston House in Glasgow, Scotland, to visit the football club’s stadium and participate in a meet and greet with fans.

There, they toured Ibrox Stadium and posed with their own customized Rangers Football Club jerseys, as well as the two cropped jerseys that started it all.

They were also able to meet with Scottish SWITHs, who eagerly gathered to show love for the fourth-generation K-Pop group.

What started as an adorable mistake ended in the best possible outcome!
