Stray Kids' Upcoming Album, "★★★★★ (5-STAR)", Sets The Record For Most Pre-Orders Ever For A K-Pop Album

Stray Kids is deep into the promotion schedule for their upcoming third studio album, ★★★★★ (5-STAR), which is set to release on June 2 with the title track “S-Class”.

In the lead-up to the album’s release, they’ve been sharing loads of teaser images and videos for the album, music video, and tracks on the album, which fans have definitely been enjoying!

And now, only a couple of days before the album is set to release, the K-Pop group has already set a new record for the industry that has never been done by another artist before.

On May 30, it was announced that ★★★★★ (5-STAR) has now become the K-Pop album with the most pre-orders in history, surpassing 4.93 million sales!

This breaks the record that was formerly held by SEVENTEEN, who just earlier this year had reached 4.64 million pre-orders with their album FML.

At this rate, it’s highly likely that Stray Kids’ new album will surpass a total of five million sales, a number that has only ever been reached by BTS‘s Map of the Soul: 7 album.
