Stray Kids’ Seungmin Receives Praise For His “Twilight”-Like Baseball Pitch At MLB Game

“He gagged everyone there with his skills fr😭”

On March 18, Stray Kids‘ member Seungmin served as the ceremonial first pitcher at the MLB World Tour Seoul Series 2024 special game held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. The match was between the LA Dodgers and Team Korea, and served as the K-Pop idol’s debut first pitch after he had to cancel his scheduled appearance at a Lotte vs. Samsung game last year due to rain.

Before he became an idol, Seungmin’s dream was actually to become a baseball player, thanks to his own grandfather’s role as a baseball pitcher in high school. Therefore, anticipation for his first pitch was high as fans expected good results from the baseball fan-turned-idol.

And Seungmin didn’t disappoint. With a flair not unlike that of Alice from the infamous Twilight baseball game, the Stray Kids member’s pitch flew straight and true, right into the catcher’s mitt.

Pictures from the throw show the determination in Seungmin’s eyes, as well as a jaw-dropping look at just how stunning his form was!

Seungmin definitely did himself, his fans, and the rest of Stray Kids proud with this pitch!
