Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and 2NE1 nominated for “Teen Choice Awards”
For the inaugural of the” Choice International Artist” category, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, and 2NE1 have been nominated for 2015’s Teen Choice Awards.
While some expressed surprise that internationally renowned group BIGBANG did not make the list, ELFs, SONEs, and Blackjacks are celebrating and K-pop fans are excited for the new category. However, it seems the three groups have major competition as international sensations 5 Seconds of Summer, One Direction, and Little Mix were also nominated for the category.
The Teen Choice Awards is an annual awards show where teens between the ages of 13 and 19 vote for the nominees before the winners are announced on air during the show. This year, the show will be aired on FOX on August 19th and include guest performers Little Mix who will be performing their new single “Black Magic.”
