Suzy’s Upcoming K-Drama Hit With Backlash For Controversial Male Lead
What are your thoughts on the cast?
Recently, Disney+ announced that the upcoming K-Drama, Delusion, will release in 2026.

The story is about a painter, Yoon I Ho, who was commissioned to paint a portrait of Song Jeong Hwa, a woman who had not been seen in the world for over half a century.

Actors Suzy and Kim Seon Ho have been cast for the role, garnering much attention from netizens.

However, news of the cast garnered much criticism on online community sites, with almost 50,000 views.
While most netizens were excited to see Suzy, many couldn’t understand why they couldn’t choose a different male lead.

- “Kim Seon Ho…I don’t know about him still…”
- “There are so many other great male actors…”
- “I love Suzy…I guess I will have to watch it for her…”
- “Just another one to add to the list of dramas I can’t watch.”
- “I’ve always felt this, but male celebrities have it easy.”
- “But why?”
- “Why does it have to be Kim Seon Ho?”
- “I have no idea why he’s so popular.”
