Taemin To Drop The Third Album ‘Act 1’ On September 7
Taemin, who is a part of both SHINee and SuperM, will be releasing his third solo album Act 1 on September 7. This album will drop on music platforms at 6 PM KST and is the first part of his third studio album Never Gonna Dance Again. He released his prologue single last month and will be releasing Act 1 and Act 2 to complete the album.
Taemin tries to break through the typical artist stereotypes and shows him challenging himself in finding a new ego. In Act 1, he will be showing the rebellion to break from the familiar world in a metaphorical way.
The title track “Criminal” is said to be a ‘listening thriller’ as it uses a tense rhythm and ‘newtro’ sound for a synth wave style song that matches well with Taemin’s sensual vocals and performance. This album includes a total of nine tracks with a mix of ballads, R&B, and medium tempo tracks.
Taemin continues to release something new through his unique vocals and performance and this time it is no different. Taemin will be holding a special album release live stream at 8 PM KST on September 7 through the SMTOWN channel on V LIVE.
