The police received a report on April 11 stating that a man had fled with around 500 wristbands from the ticket booth at the auxiliary stadium of the Goyang Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang. These wristbands serve as a mandatory form of authentication required to enter the concert venue and are used in conjunction with the ticket verification process.

The incident has sparked concerns about the stolen wristbands being illegally resold or used to facilitate unauthorized entry. The police have secured a physical description of the suspect and are conducting a search, especially around the possible escape routes in the area.

As news of this major theft spread online, fans were left questioning the efficiency of the security measures at the venue, expressing concern about possible further security lapses.

However, BTS’s Day 2 concert at Goyang stadium has already commenced, and so far, no major security concerns have been reported.
