Hong Kong star Tony Leung explained why he appeared in the K-Pop group NewJeans’ (also known as NJZ) music video.
Recently, a video featuring actors Lee Jung Jae and Tony Leung together was uploaded on GQ Korea’s official YouTube channel.
Tony Leung said, “I participated in NewJeans’ ‘Cool With You’ music video without receiving any payment.”
He added, “I hope it becomes a small gift for Korean fans,” expressing his affection.
While listening, Lee Jung Jae said, “The director of that music video is close with me. That director proudly told me, ‘I’m so honored to be filming with Tony Leung.’ He was really excited.”
Tony Leung also recalled when he appeared in the music video for singer The Name back in 2002. He explained, “I appeared together with Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Seung Bum. I also sang that song again in Chinese lyrics.”
