Netizens were shocked after a Korean actress’s real-life boyfriend appeared alongside her in the recent K-Drama Wedding Impossible.

The story follows an aspiring actress trying to be discovered and the twists and turns that come with her career and dating life. In the show, the main character Na A-Jeong is played by Jeon Jong Seo, who has showcased her acting and chemistry with the male leads.

During the last episode, the show started with a special appearance from someone playing the director who criticized Jeong Seo, asking if she had practiced and rehearsed before filming.

The scene then switches to Jong Seo, who apologizes for what had happened.

When the episode aired, netizens instantly noticed that the man playing the director was Jong Seo’s real boyfriend, Lee Chung Hyun. The two have been dating since 2021 after meeting through the film Call.

Although some media outlets reported negative reactions from Korean netizens, when the video was posted, international fans loved that Jong Seo managed to get her IRL boyfriend in her K-Drama and that he was able to do a scene with her. Some even joked that they wanted to see more couples acting together.
