Their latest album, ASSEMBLE25, sold an impressive 516,626 copies in its first week, more than tripling the first-week sales of their previous release, ASSEMBLE24, which sold 152,335 copies.

Surpassing the 500,000 milestone has made the group rank fourth in the list of highest first-week album sales by girl groups in 2025. Meanwhile, the jump in sales marks a growth of over 200%, surprising both fans and netizens alike.

Formed with the goal of becoming the world’s first decentralized idol group, TripleS sets itself apart with a unique structure. The members rotate between group, unit, and solo activities based on fan votes. Using blockchain-based “Objekts” — NFT photo cards — fans are given the power to make decisions about sub-unit lineups and content. It’s a bold approach that’s attracted attention within the K-Pop scene and beyond.

TripleS officially debuted on February 13, 2023, with 10 members and the EP Assemble, featuring the track “Rising.” The full 24-member group later released their first studio album ASSEMBLE24 in May 2024, with the lead single “Girls Never Die.” Their most recent comeback, ASSEMBLE25, dropped on May 12, 2025, and is led by the title track “Are You Alive.”

Throughout their journey, TripleS has also introduced several sub-units — including VisionaryVision, Acid Angel from Asia, and Krystal Eyes. Each unit showcases different musical styles and member combinations, adding depth to the group’s identity.

As a newer group from a relatively small company, TripleS’s growing sales numbers point to a rising presence in the competitive fifth-generation landscape. Fans are excited to see where the group’s unique concept and fan-driven model will take them next.
