TWICE Reveal Which Members Are The Best & Worst At Remembering Choreography
There’s no doubt that TWICE performances are always a blast to watch, but remembering those dance moves is a little easier for some members than others. In a new “Who’s Who” video with BuzzFeedVideo on YouTube, the group revealed which members are the best—and worst—at learning and remembering choreography.
When BuzzFeed asked TWICE to choose the members who nail the choreography the quickest, they had no hesitation. Seven votes went to Mina…
…while Jihyo and Mina herself voted for Momo, at which point many of the members agreed that Mina and Momo both deserve the top spot.
But one thing Nayeon and Jeongyeon pointed out is that Momo and Mina both have their own strengths when it comes to remembering choreography.
According to Nayeon, Mina has a knack for learning choreography quickly, while Jeongyeon states that Mina is great at understanding the dance moves exactly as they’re taught to her. Nayeon and Momo soon remembered another strength of Mina’s—remembering choreography no matter how long it’s been since they first learned it.
Momo, on the other hand, is best at picking up and recalling the most difficult moves and techniques according to Nayeon. Meanwhile, Jeongyeon says that rather than internalizing the choreography exactly as she sees it, Momo “learns and understands movements in her own ‘Momo’ style.”
As for the member who struggles to remember choreography and is most likely to forget moves in the middle of a performance, the vote was unanimous: Jeongyeon.

Despite her initial protests, Jeongyeon quickly admitted that she does have trouble remembering choreography. And, strangely, the TWICE star explained that the moves she does well in rehearsals end up being the ones she’ll “always mess up during a performance.”
All the members had their own funny memories of Jeongyeon’s choreography mishaps. Momo recalled one moment that remains iconic among fans: the time Jeongyeon messed up the “Touchdown” dance moves during TWICELIGHTS in Bangkok.

Nayeon, meanwhile, remembered a mistake during “Look at Me.” Jihyo joked, “There is just too much evidence! Already, too much,” while Chaeyoung reminded Jeongyeon that she also has trouble covering up her mistakes smoothly after making them. Of course, it’s not all bad for the lead vocalist—Sana also noted that when Jeongyeon messes up a part, she often becomes the star of the show.
