Two Of BTS’s Albums Are Set To A Huge Record On Billboard’s World Albums Chart

Which one will reach the milestone first?

BTS is no stranger to Billboard‘s World Albums Chart. Every week, the popular K-Pop group generally takes up several spots on the list, despite some of the albums being a couple years old!

For a long while now, they’ve had a couple of albums moving on and off of the list — which consists of the current top 15 global albums based on monitored airplay, streaming, and online downloads — and two of their albums are close to reaching a huge milestone: 100 weeks total on the World Albums Chart!

The album closest to reaching this milestone is Love Yourself: Tear, which was released in May 2018.  While it’s currently at 97 weeks on the chart, it’s also been dipping on and off of the list for a while and is at the #14 spot this week, so it might disappear for a while before reappearing again.

The second album, with 94 weeks on the chart, is Love Yourself: Answer, released in August 2018. Even though it has less weeks on the chart, it is ranking higher than Love Yourself: Tear, so it may just hit the 100 week milestone first!

Whichever of the two albums reaches the milestone first, it will be the first Korean album to do so, and BTS will be making yet another iconic moment in history!
